It's been awhile since I dropped by your AP and I noticced that this story hadn't received any reviews yet, so I thought I'd leave a bit of love for you!
I love how you chose to write about this moment! I mean we alreeady know what happens because we see it in cannon, so I enjoyed that you took the time to explore what Molly was thinking about. I thought the thoughts you came up with were really realistic too. I like that she's thinking about her failings and the consequences. After all that she's been through, it makes perfect sense.
I do think it's so sad that she thinks she's failed Fred somehow. Fred dying was the unfortunate reality of war and no one is really to blame for that. Even if Molly had been standing right next to him, she couldn't have prevented it. I hope that eventually she is able to understand that.
And of course, that epic moment where she takes out Bellatrix! She proves that a mother's love isn't to be tested. She isn't a normally vicious woman, but when pushed, she does what it takes!
The ending moment with her and Ginny is very sweet. I like that you included it after such an emotionally charged section!
