Heeeey Claire, I'm here for judging the Say Goodbye challenge ♥
Okay, so, I've been excited to read this one, and honestly my only disappointment is that there's not MORE. When I got to the end, I was like, "No, that's not what she was going to say, she was going to say more, say something else!"
But anyway, onto the actual review. I think you did a really great job capturing the darkness that surrounded Earth after Priamfaya. It's so disheartening to see everything destroyed, and I could feel Clarke's frustration throughout most of this piece. It's so interesting -- and so much sense, I hope they use this in season 5 :P -- that she could only go out in the sun for certain bursts because she's not a complete nightblood, she's just been injected with it.
Poor Clarke, though. Sacrificing herself just to be alone and she can't even contact anyone. I could imagine how useful Monty or Raven would be there, but it's kind of cool for Clarke to figure out the communication stuff on her own. You did a really great job keeping control of her character, too; I loved some of the sarcastic language, like the walkie that had been sitting there uselessly, or that she hadn't paid attention to how things worked or were set up. #TypicalClarke
It's so sad to hear her say goodbye to the seven up in space, though. And of course that's where her focus would be ;)
Anyway, I think you did a great job with this! And thanks for entering the challenge ♥
