So I've been meaning to review this, well squee over it for a while now. I think you doubley deserve this review because you've doing an awesome job at being my gorgeous little owl this month! Thank you =D
so Finn and Brindley are pretty much my harry potter otp. I love them so much and I can't wait you wrote them as parents. This is basically perfection, I think you've done a really great job exploring the relationship between Harley and Finn here. It is a really interesting concept that you've come up with for Harley so I'm so on board with your decision to tackle this issue. Harley is so cute and you've done a really accurate job of showing that Harley has autism without saying it outright, all the little details are wonderful. I think it's really powerful line when Finn describes his relationship with Harley like ' writing with a quill almost devoid of ink' that it's a fantastic metaphor, it just worked so so well. I think Harley would make an awesome hufflepuff or gryffindor.
I think Brindley is a kick arse mum with the line 'no such thing as normal', it was inspired line and it just sums up the type of person Brindley is. Courtney and Sirius? I already ship it! :D This makes me sad too because there is so much more that could be told here! Finn coming up against Riddle as Voldermort is delicious and Courtney's battle along with the Marauders, throw in exploring Harley and Regan more. This was a beautiful follow on, I adore how many little links/references you've got in with Harry's 19 years later. It made it really special. I love that you care about these characters so much and you were able to treat us to this snippet of their lives. I adore it and I adore you!

AWwww! I loved this! I had no idea you'd written something else in the Hero-verse and just happened to see this and I'm so happy Finn and Brindley stayed together and they're so cute and I really liked the parallels with this chapter and the epilogue of the books. There are similarities that kind of act as a nod to the book epilogue - like the line about Finn's old scar, and Finn comforting his son and trying to help him with his fears of the train and crowded places (agoraphobia, maybe?) before he goes away to Hogwarts. And I loved the way you tied this story in with the Marauders era, that worked out so well. And little first year Regulus, aw!
AND NAME PUNS. As much as I always lol at name puns, on a more serious (...heh) note I really love that Courtney's middle name is Hero.
Can I also comment on the fact that Finn's way to keep his children in line is to threaten them with sending Howlers containing excerpts of their diary, hahahaha. How very Slytherin of him... and also very hilarious. XD
Thank you for sharing this lovely one-shot!
BIANCA, why has it been so long since I've read your writing?
I love that you gave us a small insight on what Finn's kids were like. He was so good with Harley and his fear of trains, that even though he didn't always understand his son, he was willing to try and he supported him no matter what. And Harley was adorable, and I thought you wrote him really well- and writing kids/eleven year olds can be challening.
And even though this was focused on Harley and Finn, you still gave us a round sense of the Blishwick family; I'm already dying to know more about Regan and Courtney, and I'm curious about Courtney's relationship with Sirius and James, and how she fits in with Remus and Peter. Are you sure you're not writing anymore fanfiction? :)
Aww, and I loved that Courtney's middle name was Hero, definitely something Finn would do to honor his sister.
This was an adorable one-shot, so thanks for sharing with us! I hope we see more, even if it's just bits and pieces. Lovely writing as always, dear ♥
I've been meaning to come here since I saw you post in the CR that this was up!
Disappoint? How could your writing ever disappoint? This is the cutest thing I've ever read!
I confirm what I already said when you first told me about Finn's children, Harvey is my favourite! How cute is he, so quiet and shy and with his fear of trains... the little thing...
And little Reg, how adorable! I love that Sirius thought of putting them together, I love when Sirius is so thoughtful! :D
Aww... Courtney's middle name is Hero... *sigh*
Ahahah! Courtney Blishwick, the fifth Marauder!!! (No, honestly, I do need that sequel!)
So sorry about Radbourne... I wonder what happened to everyone else...
Did I mention that I love Brindley? "There's no such thing as normal" I love that sentence, it's so her! And great closing, too! Nasty Finn! Eheheh!
This was great, I adored it! Thank you for sharing with us! :D
