Heya Deeds!

You left me so many wonderful reviews during CTF and I'm here to return the favour as much as I can :)

I love the little Peter Pan reference in the title of this story, so I just couldn't go past it!

Omg I LOVE the transition between the first and second scene, how she was such a daddy's girl to being a teenager. Ahh, kids, amiright?

Molly is freaking hilarious. If you've written more of this family, I need to read it NOW.

I like how you make references to Percy's own experiences as a teenager; it gives us an insight into why he does what he does as a parent. Buuut I was cringing too when he said Lucy was too young to understand love.

D'awww! Who knew Percy would make such a good dad. Seriously though, his gesture was so so so sweet, and Lucy can see that now, but just wait until she's older, waaay over that boy, and looks back. Daddys are the only men we need <3 I know what stick on stars those are and I love them, and I love that you wrote about them.

I hope Augusta isn't too mad at you!

Author's Response:

That's so nice! Thank you! :D

I have to be honest...I don't know the Peter Pan reference. I'm not a fan of Peter Pan and the lost boys. I just don't get it. I think it has more to do with my mom who hates Peter Pan! She just doesn't get the fascination with Captain Hook and such. Thinks it's the worse thing ever created so I think I've seen the movie once and that's about it. Yikes. I'm super embarassed!

Kids are awful. At least that's what my mom says. I'm pretty old now though (well not old but I'm seasoned) and my sister has kids. I watch them and they're growing at this rapid pace and it's kind of like 'OHMYGOD what am I going to do when you're a teenager?' I mean my niece is already so sassy and she's only four. She already slams doors and tells me she doesn't like me. I am Percy when that happens. Heartbroken and really put out about it.

I wanted to try to connect everyone to Percy's character. He's difficult to write because we only know him as this prim and proper guy. The one who is a stickler for the rules and then leaves his family. People write Percy was such an unforgiving character I wanted to show his growth and understanding now that he's an adult and a parent. He would have been a good dad because he had decent parents. Molly and Arthur showed him right from wrong and I think that would have stayed with him.

I'm so glad you enjoyed my story. Those stars, didn't everyone have them growing up? I loved them! I used to dream about Hogwarts when I stared at my cieling. Ha-ha. Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I'm glad you enjoyed my little story.
