It had been over a year since Lily Potter died, and I eventually came to peace with it. Remus Lupin, however, hadn't been seen or heard from by anyone in seveteen months. It was obvious he hadn't handled Sirius' betrayal, or his friends' deaths in a healthy way at all. Then one evening, I was completely suprised when I received a letter from my long time friend, asking to meet with me. I only hoped I could help him finally move on and begin to live his life again, as I had.
War is no place for lovers or children, for late nights in the pub or early mornings in the sun. But for one group of friends, that matters not. This is a story about those with hearts brave enough to beat through battle, to withstand the lashings of fear. A story about those who refuse to surrender. Join them as they fight for light, even as darkness descends.

There has been a death, but there is no body.
A collection of unsent letters, addressed to Sirius Black,
and dedicated to a certain prokaryote.
You were Sirius.
You probably don’t even remember my name. For I was closer a number on a list or a notch in your bedpost than I ever was a name to you.
A small confession from a forgettable fangirl. The unrequited love of just another number. Because some of us don't know how to let go...
