In a remote Scottish glen, a castle stands, a castle that has seen a thousand different Christmases. But even those thousand years seem fleeting to the mountains themselves, for they stood before the castle was built and will last after the towers have crumbled.
The bedroom door burst open and there was a cry of horror. Flashes of light - red, white, blue. A jet of green, but it missed and struck the wall. The creature fled the way it had come, as the attacker sent one last spell before running to the body in the middle of the room. "Remus! Wake up! Please, Remus!"
Safiyah is a basilisk, bored and hungry. Salazar Slytherin visits her one last time before leaving Hogwarts.
He would rather watch the castle fall than fall himself; and you knew that if he wished it, that was what would happen. The founders were a whole, however much he contested it, and three quarters weren't good enough.

One day, a man named Roderick Gryffindor comes to their small village, and Ivanna leaps at the opportunity for adventure.
